Riverside Archery will implement the beginning of our return starting Phase 1 on May 25.
(Note: Outdoor restrooms will open on Memorial Day May 25, 2020.)
The Phases will only progress as fast as public health data showing improvement progresses.
Each phase will last a minimum of 3 weeks duration to monitor and assess public health metrics
against thresholds to advance. Mandatory workplace safety standards were also announced. All businesses that reopen must follow
the standards.
PLEASE NOTE: ARCHERY RANGES MAY BE CLOSED AGAIN IF THIS PROTOCOL IS NOT FOLLOWED
Phase 1: Start. (Limited industries resume operations with severe restrictions.)
- Outdoor archery ranges will be open for
practice only.
(Indoor range will remain closed until clubhouse is allowed to open and a protocol has been developed for indoor archery)
- No organized training groups or Leagues
- MEMBERS or Jr. Members ONLY!)
- Limit of 10 or less archers on main range; limit of 4 or less per target on all ranges.
- All persons should
remain at least 6 feet apart to the greatest extent possible.
- Maintain social distancing while
shooting,
retrieving arrows,
at the target and
on range.
- Face coverings or masks required for all archers not able to social distance.
Remember: face masks are not as much to protect you from everybody else as they are more to protect everybody else from you.
- Use shooter position indicators (Archer Stand Here stake) spaced 6 or more feet apart on shooting line.
Hygiene protocols
- Archers must clean/sanitize hands prior to (keep targets clean) and after (leave virus at range) shooting.
(Hand sanitizing solution will be provided at range. Please ensure the sanitizer is available for other archers when you leave.)
- Please clean high touch areas, such as archery equipment, arrows, finger tabs/releases when you are finished so that you don't take it home to share with your family.
Phase 2: Cautious.
(Additional industries resume operations with restrictions and capacity limits.)
- Usage limits stated above may be adjusted per government & Riverside E-board guidance . . .
Phase 3: Vigilant.
(Additional industries resume operations with guidance.)
- Usage limits stated above may be adjusted per government & Riverside E-board guidance . . .
Phase 4: The New Normal.
Development of vaccine and/or therapy enables resumption of "new normal."
- Indoor JOAD, Explore Archery Programs / Leagues / Organized Training / Scouting Events restart
